Issues

Nothing is more important than providing a quality education for our students. As a second term member of the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee, I have fought to make sure our College District spends your bond money efficiently. As a Board Trustee, I will continue to lead this effort with the goal of providing an outstanding educational experience for our students.

I am a fiscal conservative with extensive experience running businesses and proven success in running a large organization. I'm a Founding Board member of the Literacy First Charter School, a member of East County K-16 Collaborative, Board Member-San Diego County Crime Commission, and Board Member- San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce.
Educators, elected officials, law enforcement officials and community leaders have endorsed me because of my proven track record of strong leadership and my common sense approach to problem-solving. I believe GCCCD at this critical time needs a proven leader with the integrity, compassion and vision to provide quality education and keep college affordable for everyone.
I pledge to the voters of East County that I will work tirelessly to make our students and the quality of their education priority number one.
